Rodney Wells was the eldest son of Harold Olaf Wells and Edith Marjorie Wells (Marjorie Glenister)

Rodney was the eldest of the two sons and one daughter of "Bob" and "Marjorie", he died tragically in an accident whilst on holiday in Scotland aged 21

The inscription on his grave reads:-

Sacred to the memory of Rodney Wells, a beloved son and brother, student of science, London University. 
Who died suddenly 12th September 1964 aged 21 years.
"Loved with a love beyond all telling, missed with a grief beyond all tears".
